JSONCraft is a free developer toolkit. Tools run in your browser. We don't upload, store, or transmit your data to our servers. The site is funded by display ads. 1. Who we are

JSONCraft (jsoncraft.dev) is operated by Marco Bia, an independent developer based in Spain ("we", "our"). For questions about these Terms, use the Contact form or send a message via the feedback form in the footer of any page.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JSONCraft, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

3. The Service

JSONCraft provides 23 developer tools that run entirely in your browser. 23 free developer tools for json, yaml, csv, toml and xml — format, validate, diff, convert and visualize. Inputs you provide (text, files, numbers) are processed locally on your device. The site does not require an account, does not have a paid tier, and is provided free of charge.

Advertising is displayed on the site and is delivered by Google AdSense. Ads are subject to Google's policies and the consent management platform shown to users in regulated regions (EEA/UK/CH/California).

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what is intentionally available client-side.
• Probe, scan, or test the security of our systems or any third-party systems via our service.
• Use automated scripts that exceed reasonable rate limits or that are designed to disrupt the service.
• Use the service to transmit malware, spam, illegal content, or content that violates the rights of others.
• Use the service in violation of applicable law (export controls, sanctions, copyright, etc.).

We reserve the right to block IPs or user-agents that violate these rules.

5. Intellectual property

All content, code, design, text, and branding on JSONCraft are owned by the operator or its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the tools for personal or commercial purposes; you may not redistribute the site code or assets without permission.

Anything you input into the tools (a file you load, text you paste, numbers you type) remains yours. We never take ownership of user input.

6. Not professional advice

JSONCraft is a calculation, conversion and utility tool only. Nothing displayed on the site, produced by a tool, or shown in the documentation constitutes legal, financial, medical, security, or any other type of professional advice. All outputs are based on inputs you provide and generic algorithms that may not apply to your specific situation. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional for decisions that matter.

You accept full responsibility for any decisions you make based on outputs from JSONCraft.

7. Third-party services

The site uses third-party services to function: Cloudflare (hosting and CDN), Google AdSense (advertising), Google Analytics 4 (aggregate, consent-gated), Formspree (the contact form), and Buy Me a Coffee (optional tips). Each of those services has its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control them. The Privacy Policy names each one and explains the lawful basis for processing.

8. Service availability

We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update features, or modify the service at any time without notice. We may discontinue any tool at any time.

9. Warranty disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted to consumers under mandatory consumer protection law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JSONCRAFT OR ITS OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Because the service is offered free of charge, our total cumulative liability to you for any claim is limited to €50 (or the equivalent in your local currency) unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

11. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, excluding conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of the operator's domicile in Spain.

If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you retain the benefit of mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. You also have the right to use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as the service evolves or as legal requirements change. Material changes will be announced via a notice at the top of this page for 14 days. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

13. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms together with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and JSONCraft regarding the service.
